Like New / Open Box
Grading & Condition
Like New or Open Box is a condition tier applied to devices that have been opened or briefly used but show no visible cosmetic wear, occupying a distinct pricing position between sealed new and standard Grade A refurbished.
Open Box devices typically originate from customer returns within the return window, display units, or overstock. They command a premium over standard Grade A refurbished because they have had minimal use, but trade at a discount to sealed new because the original packaging has been opened. The price gap versus new depends on model age and demand; for current-generation flagship devices, the open box premium over Grade A can compress quickly as new stock is widely available.
